Background information......Stow Times started in February 2004 and has grown in size, content & circulation entirely due to interest from residents and businesses in Stow and the communities that use Stow as a centre. Moreton Times followed in 2007 quickly developing its own identity and receiving its' share of positive comments and results. Bourton Times and Chipping Norton Times were first published in 2010, with local contributions and distribution growing each month. Feedback tells us that all four magazines are well received and widely read.....and from our advertisers, that they work!

Total distribution. Over 14,000 copies are delivered by local volunteers to homes and businesses in Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh, Bourton on the Water and Chipping Norton, together with the villages around these market centres, including the hotels, restaurants, pubs, tea and coffee shops, B&Bs and 2nd homes. Copies are going into businesses and community venues in centres in Chipping Campden, Shipston on Stour, Burford and the Wychwoods. Our readership is now estimated to be 40,000 - 44,000 per month.

Copy dates are always the 15th of the month prior to publication (eg. 15th February for the March editions) with delivery designed to be around the first of the month. We publish 11 editions a year, including a double edition for January & February which comes out at the end of January.

As community publications all 4 titles are produced & distributed almost entirely by volunteers. Community events and fundraising activities are all carried free of charge, generally in exchange for local delivery within the community. Publicity for an event or item which has a commercial benefit doesn't count for free space, sorry! - but do talk to us about discounts for local charities and agencies.
